Mellow Yellow…..

Yellow has erupted as the undeniable “it” color of choice this summer….. Yellow, marigold, lemon sorbet, sunflower and honeybee are all over the red carpets and fashion scene. The hue has become more than a trend, it’s become a fashion staple.

This color has just taken on a life of it’s own and whether you love it or hate it, looks like it may be here to stay for a minute…….

Rihanna donned her lemon gown at the BET Awards. This look reminds me of Belle from Beauty and the Beast…. I would have loved to see this look worn at a different event and minus the goth make-up. A soft sheer make-up palette would have been flattering for this look.
