• Volunteering can always get you in the tents, although you may have missed the deadline it’s still worth it to contact them as the tents are always in need of extra hands…..
• Dress the part……..Looking and acting like a fashionista helps your chances of getting into the places you want. Obviously if your reading this blog, you must be on your style game…
• Act Like You Belong There, Just stand in line with everyone else, inform those working the show that you don’t have a ticket, but you’d love to wait in standing. You’d be surprised how far a smile and a good attitude can get you in to the tents (worked wonders for me in the past)

Favorite Holiday Finds….

Okay, I know I may be rushing the season just a little…..

Each and every year I compile a list and pray someone will be gracious enough to adhere to it and refrain from those hideous pair of socks they had in mind. List are great, but receiving the coveted items on them are even better.

Here’s a few chic items, that will be making their way onto my list (and hopefully my hands) this year…….

The new tiny laptops are a must for the holiday season…. These chic lil’ babies are not only cute but can actually fit in your handbag. They’re affordable, great for the airports, standing and in lines and definitely a must for a busy blogger like me! Priced at $353 from our wallet-friendly friends at Walmart.

You all know by now how totally smitten I am with Juicy Couture Charms by now…. Well one more couldn’t possibly hurt. Right now I am really feeling this one, this one and of course this one.

Lastly, what list would be complete without a fab pair of shoes….. Well in this case, boots! I am so loving these and I pray Santa’s reading Tres Chic Style!

Totally smitten with Yves Saint Laurent Paris at the tender age of 8. My mom received this as a gift and from the moment I laid my eyes on it I knew this would be my signature scent. The delicate fragrance has made it’s rounds with me to the Prom, to the dorms at Morgan State, special events and even the delivery room.

The diamond edged bottle was a mere representation of royalty, class and distinction to fashionistas everywhere. Mr. Laurent, an incurable romantic created Paris in 1983 and dedicated it to the city of inspiration and love.
